Waterjet Cutting Services
Our CNC Waterjet machine can cut materials up to 6” thick (or thicker depending on material & tolerances desired) complex flat parts out of materials including metal, plastic, glass, ceramic and composites directly from a CAD drawing or .dxf file.
Our machine is equipped with an X-Y travel of 100”x 55”, a 30 horsepower, 50,000 psi pump and a precision optical locator.
Waterjet cutting is ideal for short-run part production, just-in-time manufacturing, tooling, and prototype part development. If it can be drawn, it can be cut!

Dynamic Balancing
CMW offers static and dual plane dynamic balancing. Balancing reduces vibration, improves bearing life and reduces structural stress on your equipment. Our machines are soft bearing systems and can balance up to a six foot diameter part weighing up to five thousand pounds.

Liberator Rapid Rescue
Carver Machine Works and its employee owners are dedicated to providing a safe and healthful workplace while satisfying our Customers expectations. With this in mind, CMW worked with a former paper mill winder operator to develop and patent a device for the emergency extraction of an entrapped person from the winding mechanism of a paper machine.
By supporting on an existing or engineered leverage point and a roll of paper, a hydraulic pump is used to lift the paper roll up and away from the front winding drums creating a space for easy extraction of a person that may be entrapped.
The Liberator is custom manufactured for your specific winders. The device is simple to use and is constructed of high strength aluminum and steel and an Enerpac hydraulic system. In the event of an accident, time is critical in reducing the severity of an injury. When properly used, the Liberator can relieve the weight of a paper roll in a matter of seconds with virtually no damage to the rolls.
Site specific training is necessary to ensure safe and effective use. CMW can provide onsite training for your designated safety representative or to a classroom setting with all the necessary materials and demonstrations.
TRUE Lube™ - Drive Shaft Lubrication System
Saves Time, Equipment, and Money
Efficient and effective lubrication is vital to equipment performance and reliability and a critical part of any Essential Care and Monitoring Program. The most common cause of universal joint failure in drive shafts is the lack of, or improper lubrication of the cross and bearings.
To achieve proper lubrication of drive shafts, CMW has developed the TRUE Lube™ Continuous Lubrication System (Patented).
TRUE Lube™ is designed to provide continuous lubrication of the universal joint while the drive shaft is operating. Through the use of electronic lubrication canisters, TRUE Lube™ provides an individual lubrication source for each cross/bearing set in the universal joint.
Universal joint manufacturers recommend lubrication every 200 hours of continuous operation. The shutting down of operations is both impractical and inefficient. TRUE Lube™ provides the solution!
TRUE Lube™ is mounted directly on the drive shaft. Each electronic lubrication canister is then connected to one of the fittings on the universal joint. The adjustable time and volume features of the canister are then programmed to disperse a specific amount of lubricant in four different discharge periods of 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. During operation, most canisters can be monitored using a strobe light. Lubricant dispersion is traceable through the clear bowl or LED lights that indicate the various operating conditions (operating, malfunction or empty).
Each TRUE Lube™ is constructed of high-grade aluminum with stainless steel fittings. (Other metals and materials may be used based on the operating environment.) The TRUE Lube™ lubrication canisters are fully automatic, maintenance-free, corrosion, dust, splash proof, and reliable.
