TRUE
Lube™
How Does It Work?

The TRUE Lube™ is mounted on the drive shaft with an adjustable aluminum ring fitted with four electromechanical lubrication canisters.

Each canister is connected with a link to stainless steel tubing which is run down the drive shaft to the universal joints. The universal joints have pressure release valves on two of the four fittings to prevent over lubrication.

Two of the stainless steel tubes are connected to the remaining two fittings on one end of the drive shaft. The grease/oil is pumped through the tubes from the canisters to properly lubricate all of the bearings on the universal joint. This same set up is applied on the opposite end of the drive shaft as well.

As the drive shaft is in service the electromechanical lubrication canisters dispense a predetermined amount of grease. The amount is controlled by configuring dip switches on the back of the canisters to control the time period and volume amount to be dispensed. The time periods set can range from 1, 3, 6, or 12 months.

The lubrication used in the canisters varies according to customer requirements to properly grease the universal joint.
